"Astoria has its own culture. It's known for having a lot of Greeks. It's also known for having good food and restaurants; I love it cause it's my community. It's like a big family here if you grew up here, very chill for hanging out, nothing crazy just an Astoria vibe. It has it's own unique vibe; the Astoria vibe."

"I have this creative side to myself and it's very much like Astoria. I've been discovering this and so I've started just putting it on videos and such. Sometimes I laugh at my own content but it's all about breaking the social norms. About doing what society may not see as normal and like just being yourself; That's my style. Astoria has definitely influenced like the randomness in my personality. When I first started partying it was in Astoria as a teen bash promoter, it allowed me to just be comfortable and open. That's the key mentality when coming to Astoria."

"When it comes to Astoria, there are a lot of different things to do depending on age. Studio Square and the beer garden is like the thing in the summer; it's like a place to hangout outdoors and even pregame. There are a lot of good billiards out here too. A lot of good players like to come down here and play. Something that's definitely unique is 30th avenue; people like to show off their cars on the weekend and it's like kinda part of the night scene here. There are a few clubs here like Melody and Hookah is a must when on Steinway. There's a strong and growing Arab population here and that has definitely influenced Astoria."

"When the weather is good then I would definitely recommend Astoria Park, it's like a mini get away, there's a skate park and it's under the bridge (Triborough). Growing up here it was one of those places you would treat yourself with your friends after school or on the weekends, everybody would say 'Yo! let's go chill in Astoria Park'. Broadway, Steinway, 30th Avenue they're all the essentials and Ditmars Boulevard (Ditmars) is also sort of a different but unique vibe. It's so far out being the last stop but you can see a lot of the more authentic or traditional Astoria. It's more like family friendly and you see more older culture."

"If you're visiting, I would recommend just Walking around and exploring. Really try to get to know Astoria as well. Astoria is not just a place to live, it's also a lifestyle. Like if you move into Astoria, don't just come and go home and leave. It's a place to live but also a community to have so just soak it all in. I feel like Astoria's culture is slightly dying out like with too many people moving in here and with rising rent prices but it's up to us to keep the culture going. If you're visiting treat it like a precious gem and shop locally. A lot of the businesses here are family owned but like try different ones all the time so you can have a good taste of what Astoria's diversity is."
