“A lot of people outside of Brooklyn don't know about Bay Ridge. Most people know Sunset Park or Downtown Brooklyn, but they don't know too much about Bay Ridge. There aren't a lot of landmarks here, but there's Shore Road. You can see the Verrazano Bridge from there, it's also nice for walks in the summertime, fishing as well. Bay Ridge has a lot of family-owned businesses making it cool since a lot of people know each other; It's like a little village. Dogs are also big here, I think everyone has at least one dog...my neighbor has at least 4 dogs...LOL. I spend a lot of time at the coffee shops around here, usually having a good conversation and relaxing with friends in the neighborhood.”

“Owl's Head Park is also nearby Shore Road; It's sorta like a hill so that's a nice walk when it is warmer out. Walking down Bay Ridge you have a lot of options for food as well. It's pretty diverse. Leif Ericson Park is nice as well since they have a tennis court and some exercising space; you can catch some older people doing tai-chi in the morning. I would definitely recommend grabbing Dim sum in Brooklyn Chinatown which isn't too far from here. Usually, I go to the Chinese bakery by the train station and get milk tea with coffee. I love that place because I go with my dad sometimes in the morning before work.”
